Professional info

Throughout my experience at Iowa State University, I've been able to use my classroom knowledge and apply it to real-world situations. I have gained experience within sports journalism, event planning and the publication industry. I've also been able to practice my classroom knowledge through professional roles I've held during my work experiences.  I would love work for a public relations firm specializing in hospitality and travel. I want to use the skills I've retained from past internships and classwork toward something I love. I am a hardworker with exceptional attention to detail and leadership qualifications.

Work experience

I managed a staff of six students. As a manager, it was my duty to make sure deadlines were met, and build professional relationships with new and current clients. I coordinated and managed the areas of public relations, marketing and special events. I managed the marketing communications functions, including communications calendars, brand and PR plans and content development.
